Blackout 暗場(BO)
A lighting state in which all stage light goes out, usually as punctuation at the end of a scene. A dead blackout means no light at all, including work light and equipment glow, which is a different and much harder request than an ordinary blackout.

Easy to get wrong
"Dark" describes a building with no performance booked. A blackout is a state inside a running show. See the entry for dark.
Blackout cloth is a fabric that stops light passing through it. It has nothing to do with the cue.
Exit signs and aisle lighting stay on during a blackout in nearly every jurisdiction. Promising a true dead blackout may be promising something illegal.
