Focus 對燈
Pointing and shaping each lighting fixture: where the beam lands, how hard the edge is, what it has to miss. A focus session is a scheduled call with the designer on the deck and electrics up ladders, not something squeezed in while other departments work underneath.

把每一盞燈調到位：光打在哪裡、邊緣多硬、要避開什麼。對燈是排定的工作時段，設計在台上、燈光組在梯上，底下不能同時有別的部門在做事。

Easy to get wrong
「對焦」和「聚焦」是相機用語。跟華語劇組講「對焦」，來的可能是影像組。
In moving light programming a focus can also be a stored pan and tilt position recalled by name. The activity and the stored value are different.
Soft focus describes the beam edge. It does not mean the fixture is incorrectly focused.
