Scope
The European safety standard for stage machinery: powered flying systems, elevators, revolves and effects machinery, with safety-function requirements expressed against EN ISO 13849 performance levels, plus inspection regimes.
Notes
Successor to the German DIN 56950 family as the pan-European reference. When a European venue asks whether performer flying is "compliant", this plus the machinery directive is what compliance means.
