Scope
The German accident-prevention regulation for venues and production sites used for scenic presentation. Covers stage machinery, suspension of loads, inspection intervals and the qualification of the people operating and checking them.
Notes
Formerly BGV C1, and still universally called that. This is where the D8, D8 Plus and C1 shorthand used across Europe comes from — a German regulation that became the international vocabulary for what a hoist may be used for.
