ANSI E1.3-2001 (R2016)
Entertainment Technology - Lighting Control Systems - 0 to 10 V Analog Control Specification
Scope
The analogue 0 to 10 V control interface: signal levels, polarity, source and load impedance, and connector pinout, for dimmers and fixtures that predate or sit alongside DMX.
Notes
Still live: architectural dimming, house lights and a lot of LED drivers take 0-10 V, and the analogue leg is often the thing that stays powered when the show network does not. Note that "0-10 V" in architectural lighting is frequently the current-sinking variety, which is not the same electrical animal as this specification.
