AES67-2023
AES standard for audio applications of networks - High-performance streaming audio-over-IP interoperability
Scope
Specifies an interoperability profile for high-performance streaming audio over IP networks, covering synchronisation, media clock identification, transport, encoding, session description, and connection management, so that equipment built on different manufacturers' audio networking systems can exchange streams.
Notes
Free to AES members, USD 100 otherwise. AES67 is a profile rather than a product: a device claiming AES67 support is claiming it can exchange streams with another AES67 device, not that it does everything Dante or Ravenna does natively.
