Q-SYS Core 510i
Card-based Q-SYS processing core for installed AV: audio DSP, control scripting and video features in one engine, with eight I/O card slots and Q-LAN as its native transport.
Protocols it speaks
| Protocol | Direction | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| q-lan | bidirectional | Native transport to Q-SYS peripherals, cameras and other Cores. |
| dante | bidirectional needs licence |
Via Q-SYS Dante license or CDN64 card options. |
| aes67 | bidirectional | Software AES67 streams for interop with other AoIP systems. |
| osc | bidirectional | External control of named controls in the design. |
Connectors
- 8x I/O card slots (analog, AES3, Dante, telephony options)
- 4x GbE (LAN A/B, AUX)
What to watch for
Q-LAN clocking is PTPv2 at DSCP 46 while any Dante card in the same chassis marks its audio DSCP 46: running both fabrics through one switch without VLAN separation or remapping is the classic self-inflicted QoS collision.
