AV Stumpfl PIXERA one
Single-box PIXERA server for mid-size projection and LED work, running the same PIXERA software as the larger two and four output machines. Real-time 3D compositing with node-based content flow.
Protocols it speaks
| Protocol | Direction | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| art-net | bidirectional | Art-Net in for console control. |
| sacn | bidirectional | sACN in for console control. |
| osc | bidirectional | OSC in and out. |
| ndi | bidirectional | NDI send and receive. |
| ltc | in | LTC timeline sync. |
| psn | in | PosiStageNet input for tracked objects. |
| midi | bidirectional | MIDI control. |
| citp | bidirectional | CITP/MSEX thumbnails to lighting consoles. |
What to watch for
PIXERA licences by output count and feature set. A machine that plays the show in the shop may not have the licence tier the venue rig needs, and licences are tied to hardware.
The timeline and the node graph are two different mental models running at once. Content that behaves in the node graph can still be sequenced wrongly on the timeline, and vice versa.
