disguise vx 4
Flagship-generation disguise playback server: four 4K60 outputs driven by the Designer software, built for tours and broadcast where the pre-vis file and the show file are the same thing.
Protocols it speaks
| Protocol | Direction | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ndi | bidirectional | NDI capture and output are part of the Designer feature set. |
| osc | bidirectional | OSC control of Designer cues and parameters. |
| psn | in | PosiStageNet tracking input for automation-following content. |
| art-net | bidirectional | DMX-over-Ethernet in and out of Designer for lighting integration. |
| ltc | in | LTC timecode input for show sync. |
| genlock | in | Reference input for output phase lock. |
Connectors
- 4x DisplayPort 1.2 (VFC-backed outputs)
- 2x 25GbE SFP28 media network
- 1GbE management
- LTC in, genlock reference in
What to watch for
Outputs go through VFC cards, so the connector on the back is whatever VFC is fitted, and a spare server is only a spare if its VFC loadout matches.
