Metamerism 同色異譜
Two different spectra that look identical to a human observer. The eye has three cone types, so it collapses a whole spectrum into three numbers, and many different spectra collapse to the same three. A camera's three sensitivity curves are not the eye's, so a pair that matches by eye can visibly clash on a broadcast feed.

Easy to get wrong
A metameric match holds under one spectrum only. Two fabrics that match in the workroom can separate under a narrowband LED wash, so samples must be approved under the rig.
