IEM (in-ear monitor)
A personal monitor mix sent to a performer over a body-pack receiver and moulded or universal earpieces, instead of a wedge on the deck. Each mix needs its own RF channel, so a band on IEMs plus radio mics is a frequency coordination job before it is an audio one.

Easy to get wrong
IEM transmitters and radio mic receivers occupy the same spectrum from opposite directions. Plan them as one frequency plan, not two, or the transmitters will sit on top of the mics.
