ADSR ADSR 波封
The four stages of a standard synthesiser envelope: attack, decay, sustain and release. Three are times and one is not. Attack is how long to reach full, decay how long to fall from full to the sustain level, sustain the level held while the key is down, and release how long to fall to silence after it is let go.

Easy to get wrong
Sustain is a level, not a duration. A note that will not stop while the key is held wants a sustain of zero and a decay, not a shorter release.
