Scope
HD-SDI: the 1.485 Gb/s serial interface over 75 ohm coax that carries 1080i and 720p, with its scrambling, embedded audio and ancillary data space.
Notes
The reason "SDI" alone is not a spec: ST 292-1 is 1.5G, ST 424 is 3G, ST 2081 is 6G and ST 2082 is 12G, and a cable run that is fine at 1.5G can fail entirely at 12G. Match the rate, not just the connector.
