NFPA 1123
Code for Fireworks Display
Scope
Outdoor fireworks displays: separation distances by shell size, site inspection, firing crew qualification, storage and transport of the product, and misfire procedure.
Notes
NFPA 1123 is outdoor display fireworks; NFPA 1126 is pyrotechnics used before a proximate audience, which is what most indoor and stage effects fall under. Picking the wrong one is how a site plan ends up with separation distances an arena floor cannot possibly provide.
