Scope
The performance standard for audio frequency induction loop systems (hearing loops): field strength, frequency response, background noise and overspill, plus how the installed system is verified.
Notes
A loop that is installed but not commissioned to this standard is the normal failure: the T-coil symbol on the door and nothing usable in the back third of the room. Ask for the field-strength measurement report, not the installation invoice.
