Scope
Structural and mechanical design requirements for amusement rides and devices, including the temporary and demountable structures that sit alongside them at events.
Notes
Relevant to live events because the boundary between "stage structure" and "amusement device" is thinner than it looks once an audience is carried, lifted or moved. Replaced the single-part EN 13814:2004 with a three-part series (design, operation, inspection).
