The part of the DIN 56950 series specific to electric chain hoists: construction, braking, control and inspection requirements for the hoists that fly almost every touring rig.
Notes
This is the document behind the D8 / D8 Plus / C1 classification language on hoist data sheets and in touring riders. A D8 hoist is not rated to hold a load over people; C1 is. Getting that wrong is the single most consequential spec error in rigging.
