ANSI E1.8-2018 (R2023)

Entertainment Technology - Loudspeaker Enclosures Intended for Overhead Suspension

ESTArigging-structural2018free to readcurrent

Scope

Requirements for loudspeaker enclosures designed to be flown: rated working load, attachment hardware, proof testing and marking, so a hang point on a box means something.

Notes

The reason serious PA boxes publish working load limits and rigging manuals. A box with no WLL documentation has no business over an audience.
