ANSI E1.33-2019
Entertainment Technology - (RDMnet) - Message Transport and Device Management of ANSI E1.20 (RDM) compatible and similar devices over IP Networks
Scope
Carries RDM messaging over IP networks rather than over a DMX512 line, defining broker-based discovery, TCP transport of RDM messages, and the component roles that let a controller manage E1.20 compatible and similar devices across a network.
Notes
ESTA ships the download as a ZIP bundled with an index of other standards that define RDM parameter messages usable with E1.33. RDMnet is management traffic, not level data; it does not replace sACN or Art-Net for driving fixtures.
