Entertainment Technology - Temporary Structures Used for Technical Production of Outdoor Entertainment Events
Scope
Minimum design and performance requirements for temporary ground-supported structures used in the technical production of outdoor entertainment events, including stage roofs, towers, and support structures, with the aim of keeping those structures reliable under the loads and weather they will actually meet.
Notes
The 2024 edition is referenced by the 2024 International Fire Code and by the 2024 International Building Code provisions for temporary structures, so in many US jurisdictions this stops being advisory and becomes the thing the inspector is holding.
