Realizzer 3D
Real-time lighting visualiser and rendering tool, used to previsualise a rig, produce photorealistic renders for client approval, and rehearse a show off-site.
Protocols it speaks
| Protocol | Direction | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| art-net | in | Art-Net input from a console. |
| sacn | in | sACN input from a console. |
| citp | bidirectional | CITP for media server integration. |
What to watch for
Visualiser beam appearance is a rendering choice, not a photometric measurement. Use the beam and photometrics maths for coverage decisions, not the picture.
A visualiser only knows the rig you modelled. Fixture positions that differ from the plot make the pre-programmed show wrong in a way that looks right on screen.
Typical use
- Selling a lighting design with a photoreal render
- Pre-programming a show before load-in
- Checking fixture positions and beam coverage
