Mitti
Single-screen video cue player for macOS, built to be dependable and simple: a cue list of clips with go, fade and loop, and OSC control from a show controller.
Protocols it speaks
| Protocol | Direction | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| osc | bidirectional | OSC control in and out, commonly driven from QLab or a console. |
| midi | bidirectional | MIDI triggering. |
| ndi | bidirectional | NDI output and input. |
| ltc | in | Timecode sync on supported versions. |
| mtc | in | MIDI timecode chase. |
What to watch for
Deliberately single-screen. Multi-output work needs a different tool, and trying to force it is how a show ends up fragile.
macOS version and codec support move together. A clip that plays on the programming Mac may not on an older show machine.
Typical use
- A reliable single-screen video playback machine
- Video cues triggered from QLab over OSC
- Corporate and conference video playback
