Port 5568
In live entertainment systems, port 5568 is used by ACN, ETC Net3, sACN.
udp/5568
ACN — SDT (Session Data Transport)
ESTA's full control network architecture: SDT for reliable sessions over UDP, DMP for device properties, and DDL device descriptions in XML so a controller can drive a device it has never met. sACN borrows only the root layer of this; ACN is the rest of it.
udp/5568
ETC Net3 — sACN live DMX data, shared with the ACN SDT root layer Net3 is built on
ETC's branded network suite for Ion/Eos-era consoles and DMX/RDM gateways: it uses sACN (E1.31) for live DMX levels and full ACN (E1.17)/RDM (E1.20) for device discovery and configuration, plus ETC's own proprietary extensions on top. It is what a Net3 One/Two/Four-Port Gateway, or an Ion/Eos-family rig from that era, is actually running to move DMX and RDM around a building.
udp/5568
sACN — sACN data and synchronisation packets
Carries DMX512 data over standard IP networks as multicast UDP, one multicast group per universe. It is the vendor-neutral way to get lighting data around a building without running a copper DMX line to every position.
