Zero 88 FLX S48
Compact 48-fader console aimed at schools, small venues and touring band rigs, with a simple two-mode workflow and modest universe count. The desk that turns up when the budget did not stretch to an Eos.

What to watch for
Universe count is low compared with a touring desk. Fine for a house rig, tight once a visiting LED wall or a pixel-mapped set arrives.
FLX and FLX S are different products with different fader counts and capabilities; a rider that just says "FLX" needs clarifying.
