Rosendahl nanosyncs HD
Compact master clock and sync generator producing word clock, video reference and LTC from one stable source. The small box that stops a rack from having three different opinions about time.
Protocols it speaks
| Protocol | Direction | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ltc | bidirectional | LTC generate and read. |
| word-clock | out | Word clock distribution outputs. |
| genlock | out | Blackburst and tri-level video reference. |
| mtc | out | MIDI timecode output. |
Connectors
- Word clock outputs (BNC)
- Video reference outputs (BNC)
- LTC in/out (XLR)
- MIDI out
What to watch for
One master clock is the point. Adding a second "just for the video rack" recreates exactly the problem this box exists to solve.
LTC, word clock and video reference are three different things that all get called "sync". Be explicit about which one a device needs before wiring the rack.
