Megapixel HELIOS LED Processing Platform
LED processor built for camera work: high frame rates, high bit depth and the scan behaviour that decides whether a wall photographs cleanly. On a virtual production stage the processor is a colour and timing device, not a cable adaptor.
Protocols it speaks
| Protocol | Direction | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| smpte-st-2110 | in | IP video input. |
| ndi | in | Video over IP. |
| genlock | in | Frame reference — the whole point on a camera stage. |
| art-net | in | Control. |
| sacn | in | Control. |
What to watch for
An LED wall does not display a frame all at once; it refreshes in a scan. A camera shutter out of step with that scan photographs banding no grade will remove.
Processor capacity is measured in pixels and in frame rate together. A pixel count that fits at 30p may not fit at 60p.
