Alcorn McBride A/V Binloop HD
Multi-channel synchronised video and audio player built for attractions: several outputs that stay frame-locked to each other and to a house clock, in a box designed to be switched on and left alone for years.
Protocols it speaks
| Protocol | Direction | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| ltc | bidirectional | Timecode master or slave. |
| genlock | in | Frame reference. |
| midi | bidirectional | Control. |
| osc | in | Control, depending on model. |
What to watch for
Synchronised playback is the product. Mixing it with a general-purpose player elsewhere in the same show reintroduces exactly the drift it was bought to remove.
