PPE (personal protective equipment) 個人防護裝備
The equipment worn to reduce harm when the hazard cannot be designed out: helmet, harness, gloves, eye protection, hearing protection, high-visibility clothing, safety footwear. Last in the hierarchy of control, not first.

Easy to get wrong
Handing out PPE does not discharge the duty to remove the hazard. A rig that needs everyone in a helmet all day is a rig with an unsolved overhead-work problem.
